Patrick began doodling at the close of the last century.  His work then was inspired by the clean, curved lines of the sumo wrestler - and maybe a tad by a girl's fascination with sumo wrestlers.  His recent work is largely influenced by the excitement and energy of live music which his hand translates onto paper (usually) in an attempt to capture the spirit of the performance.
